For years, KTS has been fully engaged in charitable contributions to local organizations. To help those in need is a feeling that is difficult to describe. Whether it be, food, tree services or even mulch donations, we are open to helping our community. One organization we have been close with is 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever, located in West Chicago.
Established in 2004 by John and Shari Casey, 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever began with a single dog pen a litter of puppies and the desire to find them good homes. The organization rescues the “furkids” from as far as Texas and has rescued and successfully found permanent homes for thousands of dogs.
KTS has had a strong bond with 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever for several years, even employees of KTS have adopted dogs from them; and in an effort to give back and show our support we wanted to provide them with a donation of tree work. Their facility has several trees that required removal, so we coordinated with John and our scheduling department to have these taken care of. We dispatched a crew a few day’s later to have the trees removed as well as grinding the stumps. The feedback was excellent, and we were happy to help this excellent organization. It always feels good to give back, as well as help promote the need for shelter support and adoption. As their motto goes; “Saving One Dog Will Not Change The World, But It Will Change The World For That One Dog.”
