On September 17th, a Horticulture Business class at the College of DuPage welcomed Jeff Kramer, Certified Arborist from Kramer Tree Specialists. Many of the twenty four students that were present are starting second careers and valued the opportunity to learn about the tree care business from someone “in the business”. Jeff spoke about the tree care industry from an Arborist’s point of view and also discussed the unique aspects of working at Kramer Tree Specialists. In addition, Jeff fielded questions and comments from the students. Questions ranged from possible industry challenges to the rewarding aspects of a career in the tree care industry. The class appreciated Jeff Kramer taking the time to speak about his personal experiences working in the Green Industry and at Kramer Tree Specialists.
