The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is a national organization for commercial tree care companies. This organization began in 1938 as the National Arborist Association. Within the last 10 years, they have developed the Accreditation program and the Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) certification. The Accreditation program is for commercial tree care companies as a whole and the CTSP program is the only safety credentialing program for individuals in the industry. The CTSP program enhances professionals in four key areas; leadership, hazard control and prevention, incident control and prevention, and adult learning.
We are proud to have been an Accredited tree care company since 2009 and have had at least one CTSP on staff since 2011. Having these aspects to our company has allowed us to stay on the leading edge of innovation and advancement within our industry and provide that quality to our clients.
We are proud to announce 5 new CTSP’s to our staff; Primo Murillo, Kevin Wallis, Phil Reth, Pierre Hatch and Jim Clancy. These staff received this certification in the winter of 2018 and have shown their willingness to develop professionally and continually strive to promote the practice of safe and professional arboriculture.
It is continually our goal to empower our clients to be the caretaker of their trees, and in doing so we aim to provide the highest quality service and expertise that we can!
Congratulations to our staff on achieving this credential! If you would like to learn more about the TCIA CTSP program or the TCIA Accreditation program visit these links below:
