Celebrating with family and friends is what makes Thanksgiving a special holiday. Traditions, both old and new are born from the time spent together with loved ones. Thanksgiving is also National Family Health History Day. Take the time this Thanksgiving to discuss and document health issues that seem to carry over generation to generation.

National Family Health History Day was created in 2004 by the United States Surgeon General. Because Thanksgiving is traditionally a day spent with family, it creates the perfect opportunity to learn about possible health problems that have impacted past generations and may continue to affect future family members. After discussing your health history, a Family Health Portrait can be created and used by all family members. Help ensure a longer, healthier life for all the members of your family. What a wonderful way to celebrate family and traditions.

From everyone at Kramer Tree Specialists, we hope you enjoy the time spent celebrating this holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!
