Within the past month, we have become a member of the National Safety Council and have been re-accredited through the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Both these achievements are integral in staying up to date with the most innovative safe work practices and our continuing effort towards providing the highest level of client satisfaction.
With our constant focus on performance improvement, we recently joined the National Safety Council [NSC]. Some benefits noticed include their focus on reducing the use of cell phones and smart phones when driving. As a result of this partnership, we created & implemented our own cell phone usage policy. Traffic protection is another issue important to KTS. This spring we are becoming qualified to certify our own employees in DOT traffic protection via membership in the National Safety Council. This is another effort to keep our workforce and the public safe. We believe being a member of NSC will provide us with many new learning opportunities. We have been an accredited tree care company through the TCIA since 2009. Accreditation lasts for three years and then you must be re-accredited. As an Accredited company, we have been audited and approved on our adherence to industry standards for quality service and safety, providing continuous training programs to all of our staff specific to their job duties, and documented dedication to providing our clients ethical and quality daily business practices. Our audit involved an on site visit by a TCIA approved Accreditation Auditor. He was on site for an entire day reviewing all of our business practices, safety program, and observing our field crews in action. Click here to learn more about TCIA Accreditation.
We will continue to pursue continued partnerships with these agencies along with the others we are members of. It is our goal to continually strive to provide our clients with highest quality and safest work practices. We strive to provide the highest client satisfaction.
